Children from low-income families and marginalised communities are less likely to attend school, receive lower quality education, and have lower chances of completing their education and accessing quality jobs. Cultural norms and practices also make it difficult for girls in rural areas to attend and complete their schooling.
To address this crisis, Aspire – A Society for the Promotion of Inclusive and Relevant Education – has developed a model for providing quality school education to all children within the Right to Education framework. Our education interventions aim to strengthen the mainstream government-school system through improved school governance, universal access, the introduction of new pedagogic practices, and the empowerment of teachers and local communities.
