Co-creating with communities

Working with the local community can improve education outcomes in rural India. By involving communities in the education process, schools can better address challenges unique to their area and support student success.
Community involvement in education initiatives like the school development plan and early childhood centre plan ensures needs and perspectives are considered, raises awareness, and builds trust between school and families.
Aspire uses a collaborative process, involving community members, to develop and implement solutions to community problems, including the design and delivery of education interventions and services. Co-creating with the community involves active listening, dialogue, and mutual respect. It requires collaboration and cooperation between different stakeholders and the ability to work together towards a common goal. The process is iterative and flexible, allowing for the solution to evolve over time based on feedback and input from community members.
