HBCSE promotes equality and excellence in Science and Mathematics education and encourages the growth of scientific literacy in India. They advocate for an activity-based curriculum which provides children with first-hand concrete experiences of science at an early age and gradually strengthen the child’s capacity to construct abstract formulations. We collaborate with Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education to bring in innovative practical ways to teach science education in government schools.

Our 25 teaching staff received training at HBCSE in Mathematics and Science and further trained 118 teachers. 5612 children from grades 6-8 are now engaged in science activities through practical demonstrations.

Small Science, a series of innovative books for primary grades developed by HBCSE, have been translated in Odia by us. This includes 12 books for grade 3, 10 books for grade 4, and 10 books for grade 5. We are distributing these books in grades 6 to 8 in all government schools in Odisha program blocks.
