New CERC at Sukinda

On July 7th, 2023, Aspire Sukinda Block inaugurated its 11th Community Education Resource Centre (CERC) at Kaitha village in Pingal gram panchayat. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Minister Mr. Pritiranjan Gharai honourable minister of skill development, technical education and rural development Odisha, along with Sukinda Block Chairman Mr Dibyaranjan Baral and Vice-chairman Bhagyalaxmi Rout. The CERC aims to provide digital learning opportunities to children and the entire community, helping them improve their education and livelihood prospects. Pingal village was chosen for its geographical location, connectivity, and the presence of socio-economically disadvantaged communities.

The CERC is equipped with computer and laptop facilities, a projector, libraries, internet access, and academic tutorial classes. During the inaugural ceremony, a meeting was conducted to discuss the objectives of the CERC, with the participation of 243 people.

Chief Guest Mr Gharai appreciated the innovation of the CERC, emphasizing the importance of education and technology in today’s world. He assured his support for the development of the people, students, and education in the region.
