Prof. Ganesh N. Devy and Prof. Surekha Devy’s Inspiring Visit

June 26, 2023
We are thrilled to share the successful visit of Prof. Ganesh N. Devy and Prof. Surekha Devy to our programmatic areas in Odisha and Jharkhand. Their presence proved to be an invaluable asset, as they shared their extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of linguistics, literature, and community empowerment. Prof. Devy’s remarkable efforts in the preservation of endangered languages and his insightful research on tribal communities greatly enriched their visit.
Throughout their stay, Prof. Devy and Prof. Surekha Devy actively engaged in various activities, including observing FLN (Functional Literacy and Numeracy) classes, attending community meetings, and conducting discussions with members of the School Management Committee and the Shishu Adhikar Suraksha Samiti. These discussions covered important topics such as the Child Labour Free Village initiative and the future goals of the children.
We were filled with immense pride as Prof.Devy commended and recognized the exceptional work carried out by Aspire. He acknowledged that the scale of this intervention was unparalleled in his experience and advocated for the expansion of similar initiatives to encompass all corners of India. It was a humbling affirmation of our efforts and further motivated us to continue making a positive impact.
