Aspire organised a one day orientation for all block level Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators(CRCCs), Assistant Block Education Officers(BEOs) and other staff from Block Education Office and Aspire in Banspal. The orientation took place in the Banspal BEO office under the NIPUN Bharat Mission on 20th July. Participants built an understanding about the importance of developing in-depth knowledge of the basic concept of FLN among teachers and attaining foundational literacy and numeracy skills among children before entering grade 3. The main focus was on how to equip pre-primary and primary level teachers with the pedagogical skills and modern practices of teaching at the foundational stage.
Banspal Block consists of 224 schools and FLN program is being conducted in 210 of them. Aspire is working intensively with 96 schools in the first phase.
The orientation was facilitated by Aspire LEP Coordinators Debanga Bibhar and Abhiram Majhi. A total of 41 participants attended the orientation.
