Aspire Can Help Our Children Build a Bright Future: Smt. Geeta Koda, MP

In a special general body meeting of the Robkera Panchayat of Anandpur block in West Singhbhum MP Smt. Geeta Koda expressed her confidence in Aspire to help the children build a bright future. The meeting was held on 16 July at the Panchayat Bhavan. Smt. Geeta Koda presided over the meeting in which Block President Sunny Lugun, Zilla Parishad Member Shri. Vijay Bhengra, Panchayat Chief, ward members from different villages and 2 GPCMs of Aspire were also present. Various issues concerning the village and the surrounding areas were discussed in the meeting. Aspire’s Community Mobilisers introduced the organisation to all those who were present. They talked about Aspire’s goals, initiatives, working of NRBCs, RBCs and Aspire’s work to prevent child labour and child marriages. . Smt. Geeta Koda said that she is well aware of Aspire and its work in the education sector which is way ahead of many other organisations working in the same area.”Aspire has done commendable work in education and ensuring child rights in Jagannathpur and Noamundi blocks of West Singhbhum. Aspire’s has set a milestone in Jagannathpur and taking it as an example, they should continue doing this important work in other blocks as well to improve the standard of education. We should work together to make a bright future for our children” she added. Shri. Vijay Bengra offered support of PRI members, villagers and Munda-Manki for Aspire’s work in Anandpur district. A total of 67 villagers participated in the meeting including 42 women and 25 men.
