Strengthening Classroom Practices Through Teacher Training Programmes

In collaboration with the Education Department, Kharagpur-I Block, ASPIRE organised two teacher training programmes in June 2026 to strengthen classroom teaching in government schools. The initiatives equipped primary school and Shishu Shiksha Kendra (SSK) teachers with practical approaches to Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and the effective use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs). Middle school Science and Mathematics teachers also enhanced their skills in STEM education through experiential and inquiry-based learning aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023.

The training programmes strengthened learner-centred teaching practices and equipped educators with practical tools to create engaging classrooms that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among children.
